The Consumer Federation of America hosts The NeighborMood’s Official Launch

Our personal finance game, The NeighborMood, was officially launched on 24 February 2021 in an online event hosted by the Consumer Federation of America, and in partnership with the FoolProof Foundation. Special guest speakers include Jean Rogers, Director of the Children’s Screen Time Action Network, and Nina Hersher, Director of the Digital Wellness Collective.

The NeighborMood is Dot Dot Fire’s answer to the growing need for accessible and effective personal financial education. It is a real-world simulation game that teaches kids consumer life skills and healthy skepticism through simulated scenarios and realistic consequences.
